Charlize Theron Everything about Charlize Theron is sexy, from her amazing green eyes to
her statuesque 5'10" body.

However, her sex appeal has a lot to do with her feminine grace and class, which she has in
spades. She always carries herself like a lady, and is never caught partying it up in the L.A. or
New York club scene. Whether she's on the red carpet, in an interview or accepting an award,
Charlize Theron always acts like a real woman. Charlize Theron is one of the great actresses of
our time. With her ability to capture a plethora of characters, she relentlessly demands the
audience’s full attention as soon as she appears on screen. This South African native is
continuously being praised and admired for her inspiring and powerful performances.

Theron captivated audiences as female serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the independent gem
Monster. Theron received the Independent Spirit Award & the National Broadcast Film Critics
Association as well as winning the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, San Francisco Film
Critics Circle, New York Film Critics Online and Southeastern Film Critics awards, the
Breakthrough Performance Award from the Nation Board of Review and the Academy Award,
all for her emotionally devastating performance in Monster.

Continuing with her busy schedule Charlize was next seen in the drama North Country opposite
Frances McDormand and Sissy Spacek for director Niki Caro. Based on the real life story of a
group of women coal miners and the hostile work environment they faced on a daily basis,
North Country received great praise. Her incredible performance as Josey Aimes garnered her
nominations for a Golden Globe, SAG, Critics Choice, and an Oscar.

“It’s strange that people put so much emphasis on us. We make movies, but you know what?
At the end of the day, we’re just normal people. After the Oscars, I had people waiting outside
my house and following me around. I realized I couldn’t live my life this way, so I filed a lot of
police reports, and now it’s fine. I’m just never going to be comfortable being easy prey. I just
can’t. I’m never going to be that starlet girl, the paparazzi angel who always says the right thing,
because it’s not who I want to be. I’m very lucky: I have a great job, I have my friends and my
family and my dogs, and anything other than that right now I’m not focused on. It’s the only
way I know how to live.”
