Hollywood star Chris Cooper meets with Delta Films execs!
By Roland Hansen
Plymouth - Chris Cooper, the Oscar winning star of American Beauty, Breach, and The Kingdom,
took time out from his busy schedule to meet with the Delta Films executives at the Plimoth
Plantation screening of his movie "Married Life". Roland Hansen and Ken Ellis spoke with Mr
Cooper at the cocktail reception prior to the films showing. Cooper, who plays larger than life
characters in his movies, was very personable, warm, and engaging and surprisingly down to
earth. During the reception we talked about how he is the only oscar winner in Kingston. He
quipped that the spelling of my name was the same as the character he played in "Breach". I
told him that my father is Robert Hansen, just not the same Robert Hansen he played. After the
movie the actor spent some time answering questions over coffee and desert.
