Over thirty years ago Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and crew cast their nets
for a great white shark in the waters off Martha's Vinyard. This summer the
Delta Hall of Famer Dreyfuss returns to Cape Cod Massachusetts, older, more
seasoned, and with an impressive resume that would do credit to any actor.

Principal photography has begun on Daniel Adams’ period romantic comedy
"The Lightkeepers" starring Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner. The tone and
story are similar to The Golden Boys, said the director, and the movie should
appeal to the same audience. Shooting is scheduled in May at Race Point in
Provincetown - other Cape locations, including Chatham, are tentatively included
in the schedule. Also starring in Lightkeepers is Tom Wisdom, Mamie Gummer
(Evening - Daughter of acting legend
Meryl Streep), and Bruce Dern (Coming
Home,
The Cake Eaters)

Set in the year 1912 on Cape Cod 'The Lightkeepers' tells the story of a
lighthouse keeper and his mysterious assistant who have sworn off women but
must confront two attractive females who move into a nearby summer cottage.

Adams wrote the screenplay with Larry Frenzel, who is producing through his
Birchwood Pictures label with Penelope L Foster and Harris Tulchin.
