Crews with Adam Sandler's made-in-Boston flick "Zookeeper" are planning an elaborate
wedding scene slotted to film on Monday, Sept. 21 until Friday, Sept. 25.
Yes, here comes the bride ... but who's getting married?
RPM Casting is on the hunt for young, hip union and non-union men and women (who
haven't worked on the movie yet and are available all week) for the wedding scene.
Also, they're specifically looking for men and women of Filipino descent to portray
family members in the wedding bash.
Kevin James' off-screen wife, Steffiana De La Cruz, is a featured player in the flick and
was spotted filming scenes last week in the Boston Public Garden. The stunning De La
Cruz (pictured above) is of Filipino descent.
Perhaps, De La Cruz is getting hitched in the movie ... or is it the lovely Rosario
Dawson?
"Zookeeper" follows James as a zoo caretaker who consults with the animals in an
attempt to learn their methods of dating and mating to help him win back the woman
of his dreams. Rosario Dawson has been cast as Kate, the smart zoo veterinarian who
works alongside James' character Griffin. Leslie Bibb plays Stephanie, the ex who broke
Griffin's heart. De La Cruz stars as Robin.
Meanwhile, Yum Bunnies Cakery located in Belmont just delivered a custom-made
concoction crafted from seven chocolate sheet cakes and six batches of icing. Yum
Bunnies, for those keeping tabs, created the giant wedding cake in "Ghosts of
Girlfriends Past" that Matthew McConaughey's loverboy character tried to save from
crashing to the floor at his brother's wedding.

No, the monkey wedding picture isn't from the movie. I just thought it was cute and fit in with the theme of the story
