| We enjoyed a leisurely riverboat cruise aboard a sternwheeler on the Tanana River. These ships used to be powered by steam (by burning wood) now-a-days they have been converted to diesel. (That's right, Vin Diesel is actually running on a hamster wheel inside the engine room) A float plane landed beside the paddle wheeler and a little while later took off for the bush. |
After taking on supplies this float plane is heading for the wilderness.
