| The abundant fireweed is sort of a reverse groundhog. It blooms from the bottom up. They say when the blossoms on the very tip finally blooms that the first snow will fly within a week. I'm told it's usually quite accurate. Of course it may just be a tall tale they tell to us gullible tourists. |
